Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Itch Toolkit browser extension, this website, and related services (together, the "Service"), operated by Rehan Faisal ("RehanDev", "we", "us"). By installing the extension or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What the Service is

Itch Toolkit is a browser extension that adds analytics, alerts, research and page-styling tools on top of your own itch.io creator account. It reads data from itch.io pages you already have access to while logged in to your own account. Itch Toolkit is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by itch corp or itch.io.

2. Accounts

Some features require creating an account (email/password or Google sign-in). You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be legally able to enter into these Terms.

3. Subscriptions & billing

• The core extension is free. Optional Pro features are available as a monthly subscription (see Pricing).
• Payments are processed by Paddle.com, acting as merchant of record. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's terms; Paddle handles checkout, invoicing, tax and payment data.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime and keep Pro access until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy.
• We may change Pro pricing with reasonable advance notice; changes apply from your next renewal.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service to violate itch.io's own terms of service or any applicable law;
• reverse-engineer, resell, sublicense or redistribute the extension or its Pro features;
• share one Pro account across multiple people, or circumvent feature gating or usage limits;
• use the Service to harvest data about other users beyond what itch.io publicly displays;
• abuse shared resources (e.g. automated high-volume requests through the extension's AI features).

5. Third-party services

The Service interacts with third parties, including itch.io (your own dashboard data), Google Firebase (accounts and sync), Google Gemini (optional AI suggestions) and Paddle (payments). Their availability is outside our control, and their terms and privacy policies apply to their processing.

6. Intellectual property

The extension, website, branding and generated code templates are our intellectual property. Output you create with the tools (e.g. widget HTML, theme CSS, GIFs composed from your own assets) is yours to use on your own pages. You retain all rights to your own game content and data.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Analytics figures are read from itch.io's pages and may be delayed, incomplete or change if itch.io changes its site. We do not guarantee sales, rankings, indexing outcomes or uninterrupted operation, and we may modify or discontinue features at any time.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms; where reasonable we will warn you first. Sections 6–8 survive termination.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.
